No visit to the south of France would be complete without a sampling of the excellent local food. Guests to Domain Jean Coste are offered a wide selection of high-quality fresh local ingredients, in either traditional or international dishes, all prepared and presented by Catriona.


Your daily breakfast  includes croissants baked fresh each morning served with jams and marmalade  prepared with fruits from our own orchard - also freshly made yoghurt.


Enjoy dinner on the terrace, our four-course evening meals are served with aperitive, wine and coffee.  Our wines are all local, beers and other drinks are also available.


Lunch or packed picnics can be organised on request.

Special dietary needs

Most special diets can be accommodated with notice, including vegetarian or vegan, coeliac/gluten-free, diabetic, lactose intolerant, and many others.

Dining out

While many guests prefer to dine at Jean Coste we realise that part of your holiday experience is a visit to a local restaurant  and would be happy to reccommend some.

Local produce and specialties

At Domain Jean Coste  all meals are prepared, where possible, with fresh produce, we are fortunate to have a local producer.

Guests are offered fruit from our own orchard as available.

Our small flock of chickens provide eggs for the kitchen.

A wide variety of local cheeses are served including a tasty goats cheese made in a nearby village.

In rural France, many villages put on village meals on weekends, attended by all the locals (aged 1 to 100!). We are sometimes able to organise for our guests to attend as well — let us know if you're interested.
